BADEN, ON – Community engagement and feedback are integral pieces of building a cohesive, vibrant, and welcoming community for all Township of Wilmot residents, businesses, and visitors.
Due to the changing needs of this growing community and the need to create a more user-friendly by-law, Municipal Law Enforcement for the Township of Wilmot would like to modernize the current Noise By-law through various public consultation opportunities.
“In the past five years the municipality has received over 300 complaints and inquiries related to noise in the Township of Wilmot. The current by-law should be updated to better reflect the needs of the community,” said Erin Merritt, Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement. “I’m hopeful that through these engagement opportunities we will receive feedback that will help guide staff and ensure meaningful changes are proposed to Council.”
Residents will have the opportunity to provide their feedback through an online survey beginning Monday, May 1 until Friday, June 9 at 4:30 p.m.
Residents can also engage with staff and provide feedback in-person at the following locations:
Thursday, May 11
Active Living Centre inside the Wilmot Recreation Complex
1291 Nafziger Road
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 13
