Township of Wilmot declares snow event

The Township of Wilmot has declared a snow event beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

A snow event is declared when weather conditions result in the need for significant snow removal, plowing or salting operations.

All on street parking is prohibited during a snow event to allow plows to clear roads safely and efficiently. Vehicles parked on the street during the snow event may be ticketed and/or towed.

This snow event will remain in effect for 24 hours unless extended or cancelled.

The public will be notified of any extension or cancellation of the event through the Township’s website (www.wilmot.ca/news), social media accounts (www.facebook.com/wilmottownship and www.twitter.com/wilmottownship), and local media channels.

Residents can register to receive email updates, as available, at www.wilmot.ca/subscribe.
