The delivery of ambulance service in the Township of Wilmot is the responsibility of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division of the Region of Waterloo Public Health Unit. Residents with OHIP coverage pay a $45 fee for essential ambulance calls (including air ambulance trips) and a $240 charge for non-essential calls. Residents without OHIP coverage pay $240 for all ambulance calls.

Walk-in clinics provide medical care for people who are sick and do not have a family doctor or are unable to reach their family doctor. Generally appointments are not needed, however, it is best to call before visiting to check a clinic's hours/criteria for visiting as they are subject to change.
If you have a severe injury or potentially life-threatening problem, you should always go directly the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
