The third annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Saturday, September 30, 2023. Join us for a walk through the Schmidt Woods to learn more about our shared history and reflect on the Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action. The walk is an opportunity to learn from one another, to reflect and take action to honour the healing journey of residential school survivors and their families.
Learning resources from the Waterloo Region Library on Indigenous cultures, history, and literature will be available after the walk.
We hope that you’ll join us. Meet at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, Schmidt Woods at the Wilmot Recreation Complex – 1294 Nafizer Road, Baden. Parking entrance off Nafziger Road.
