Private Utilities in the Township

Utility Locates: Call or click before you dig
On June 19, 2012, the Province passed the Ontario Underground Infrastructure Notification System Act 2012 (Bill 8) which requires all utility owners to register with Ontario One Call (ON1Call).
Ontario One Call is a public safety administrative authority that acts as a communications link between buried infrastructure owners and individuals who are planning to dig in the province of Ontario.
The role of Ontario One Call is to notify all registered owners of underground facilities within the vicinity of the planned excavation area to provide the locate service. Contractors, homeowners and owners of underground infrastructure can connect with Ontario One Call to request a locate.
