The Township of Wilmot supports the effort of many community groups each year through our Municipal Grants Program. Funds are allocated through a competitive application-based process. The total grant funding allocated in a fiscal year is approximately $50,000.
Operating Grant
An operating grant must be used for the delivery of specific programs. This cannot be allocated toward existing overhead, administrative costs, debt charges, etc.
Capital Grant
Capital grants are one-time funding to an organization for physical assets to carry out its programs within the Township.
Application Process
In order to be eligible for Grant funding, application packages must be completed on-line, and submitted by March 11, 2024 at 4:30pm.
The application package includes several sections to assist in staff and Council evaluations. Each of these criteria are given weights based on their relative importance and based on this evaluation, staff will generate their recommendation for approval and inclusion in the municipal budget.
The 2024 applications close on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.
