Building permit fees
Building permit fees are paid when a building permit is issued. Accepted methods of payment are cash, cheque, or debit. Credit card payment is only accepted for permit fees up to $2750.

Security deposit
A security deposit and work permit is required for inground pool projects to ensure the road allowance is not damaged during construction.
Other fees
Other applicable fees may apply if permits are required from other agencies such as the Grand River Conservation Authority, Ministry of Transportation or the Electrical Safety Authority, Region of Waterloo or if other planning applications are being filed.
